Privacy Policy

Effective Date: November 6, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how EVOLVTEC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information about you when you use this website and our authorized Lexmark onsite printer service.

1. Information We Collect

Three streams feed our records: what you hand us, what the site notices on its own, and what a partner passes along.

What you tell us

  • Your name, business name, email address, and phone number
  • The service address, plus a billing address when an invoice is raised
  • Printer make, model, and serial number, the error you are seeing, and the visit window that suits you
  • Messages you send us, quotes you approve, and any account login you choose to create
  • Payment details, which are captured by our payment processor — we never hold a full card number on our own systems

What the site notices

  • Internet address, browser and operating system
  • Pages opened, time spent, and links followed
  • The page or search term that sent you to us
  • Device identifiers and cookie values

2. How We Use Your Information

We keep use close to the reason you gave it to us:

  • Deliver onsite repair, installation, maintenance, and supply orders
  • Raise invoices, take payment, and send confirmations
  • Assign a technician, confirm the window, and follow up afterwards
  • Answer support questions and handle warranty claims
  • Send operational notices such as schedule changes; marketing is separate and you can leave it whenever you like
  • Spot and stop fraud, abuse, and fake booking requests
  • Improve the website, the pricing we publish, and how we schedule
  • Meet tax, record-keeping, and other legal duties

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. It moves only in these situations:

  • Suppliers who do work for us — the technician sent to your site, the payment processor, the email platform, the CRM, the parts courier
  • A buyer or merger, if the business is ever sold or restructured
  • A court, regulator, or law-enforcement body, when a valid request compels it
  • Anyone, where disclosure is needed to protect a person, property, or the safety of our technicians
  • Whoever you name, when you tell us to share with them

4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

The site uses cookies and close relatives such as local storage. Essential ones keep forms working, measurement ones show us which pages earn their keep, and campaign ones run only after you consent.

Our Cookie Policy lists each group, names the third parties involved, and explains how to switch optional cookies off. If you refuse them, parts of the site — the booking form in particular — may stop behaving.

5. Data Security

Information travels over encrypted connections, sits on servers behind access controls, and is visible only to staff and contractors who need it for the job at hand. Payment card data is handled by a PCI-compliant processor rather than by us.

No system on the internet is unbreakable, so we will never promise absolute safety. What we do promise is reasonable care, and prompt notice if your information is ever involved in a breach we are required to report.

6. Your Rights & Choices

Where your state's law allows, you can ask us to:

  • Show you what we hold about you
  • Fix anything inaccurate or incomplete
  • Delete your information, subject to records we must keep
  • Hand your information over in a usable, portable format
  • Stop sending you marketing — the unsubscribe link in any email does this immediately

Send the request through our Contact page or the email below. We may ask for something that confirms your identity before acting, and we will tell you if an exception applies.

7. Children's Privacy

This site and these services are built for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly gather information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us something, tell us and we will remove it.

8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

California residents may ask which categories of personal information we collect, where they came from, why we hold them, and who received them; they may also ask for the specific pieces we keep about them, request correction or deletion, and limit use of sensitive information.

We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Exercising a right will not cost you service, price, or quality. An authorised agent may file on your behalf; we may ask for proof of that authority and confirm with you directly. Our Do Not Sell or Share notice explains the process step by step.

9. Changes to This Policy

We revise this policy when our operations or the law change. The new version appears here with a fresh effective date, and we will point out material changes where we can. Check back from time to time.

10. Contact Us

Privacy questions, rights requests, and complaints all land in the same place — the address and inbox below. Tell us plainly what you want and we will work out the rest.
